First of all let me just say that in the 27 years I have been alive the only place in Bangor I have ordered a
pizza from is a certain well-known establishment a little further down high street until last week when I sampled a Dolce Vita pizza...
I love pizza and consider myself somewhat of an aficionado and this is up there with the nicest I've tried, giving creedence to their name which loosely translates as, "the sweet life".
Dolce Vita have authentic Italian thin based pizza that really are truly truly brilliant with just enough crunch of the base, pizza sauce and cheese to make a gorgeous pizza.
I went for my usual pepperoni, salami and mushroom and have never seen so much toppings on a pizza, you could barely see anything else, and I knew from the smell when I picked up from the shop (delivery available) that it was gonna be a good un and it made me feel less dirty for cheating on my usual pizza parlour...!!
They also offer several other course alternatives that many ordinary delivery places would not, like bruschetta, garlic bread and pasta dishes which I shall sample the future given my experience...
Shop located very centrally and is ideal for a stomach liner before or after a few pints in one of the several drinking establishments within 10 metres of its' door.
Will definitely be trying again for my cheese and carb fix...! -

This is easily the best pizza shop in Bangor by a mile.. Proper Italian style pizza, this isn't your average closing time pizza shop, this is the real deal. My personal favourite is the romana, Parma ham, sun blushed tomatoes, mozzarella and rocket it is absolutely delicious. It is slightly more expensive than the competition but well worth it.

When i moved to bangor i couldn't get enough off domino's but as time went on they just went down hill and tasted more like frozen pizza what a waste off money, but then i discovered dolce vita in high street bangor serving proper Italian pizza at half the price off domino's with a beautiful crust and fresh ingredients you never wait more than 30 mins for delivery and the pizza arrives hot on your doorstep have also tried there garlic bread and home made chicken gougons with dip these are also excellent give it s try

Other people rave about Piccolla's Pizza which can be found in both Newtownards and Bangor but to be honest I much prefer Dolce Vita.
We had a bad experience with Piccolla - ordered pizzas for a party, they never came, when they came they were cold blah blah blah. So we decided to swap to Dulce Vita and I have no complaints.
The pizzas are tasty and not greasy, you can tell they are made fresh and they feel more authentic than other places. My favourite is Pollo and Pesto pizza from the speciality menu which is slightly more expensive - the chicken is just so tender and the pesto tastes homemade.
I have no complaints good tasty pizza, decent prices and quick service. -

This pizza joint hasn't been about for as long as the more established Piccolla but its pretty nice and I have never been let down by the standard of pizza, pasta or service that I have got in here.
Its a slightly more upmarket option - if such a thing is possible for pizza. All the pizzas are handmade to order and are prepared with love and attention by a fully trained chef. This means you can get an extremely tasty pizza here. That being said, I just don't see why you would go anywhere but Piccolla, it really is number one. Which is a pity for this place, because its pretty nice.
